Observe
We begin by watching and listening, monitoring coastal and marine ecosystems, documenting changes in biodiversity, and identifying the environmental and community challenges that need attention.
Using science, technology, and collaboration to understand, monitor, and protect biodiversity across 24 critical global biomes.
BioTrace Global is an emerging global initiative dedicated to advancing environmental conservation, biodiversity research, and sustainable solutions through science, technology, and collaboration. We bring together students, researchers, scientists, conservationists, and environmental enthusiasts to support innovative approaches for understanding and protecting our planet’s ecosystems. BioTrace Global aims to strengthen biodiversity monitoring and promote the use of modern scientific tools to address environmental challenges. We are building a global community of passionate individuals committed to creating a sustainable future for nature and society.

Our Methodology
We begin by watching and listening, monitoring coastal and marine ecosystems, documenting changes in biodiversity, and identifying the environmental and community challenges that need attention.
We investigate what we observe using scientific tools, from sampling to ecological assessments, and an interdisciplinary approach to understand the drivers behind what is happening in our oceans.
No single organization can protect the ocean alone. We partner with universities, researchers, local communities, and other conservation organizations to pool knowledge, resources, and action.
We turn research and partnership into tangible outcomes, whether community-based conservation initiatives, policy engagement, education programs, or direct environmental action.
